The bushfires in the Blue Mountains during December meant that Steve & band had to cancel the New Years gig at Palais Royal.
This decision was not taken lightly but with a drop in Blue Mountains tourism by over 80% the function was not possible.
Yesterday Steve spoke to 702 ABC Radio Sydney explaining that the fires have impacted all parts of the community, especially the hospitality and the arts. You can hear the program here.
